Frequently Asked Questions

Sewer Education - Know Your Lingo

How long does the process take?
It depends on the scope of the job, but typically between 1-3 days.

Will you turn off my water during the job?
Sometimes we will need to turn off your water, but rest assured in most cases we can turn it back on at night so you will have service. If the sewer line is still under construction at the end of the day we can add a temporary line so that you have sewer service overnight.

Do you pull permits?
Yes, the majority of jobs require pulling permits. Sewer Lines Only is licensed in every municipality in and around Denver Metro. After a water or sewer line has been repaired/replaced a city inspector must sign off that the work has been completed up to current code. All permits are included in your estimate.

What happens to my landscaping/fence?
Our team will work diligently to preserve your landscaping the best we can. If the job requires major landscaping disruption we can quote the job with and without replacing the landscaping. This can be discussed during your free estimate. We will remove fencing when need be and will replace it upon completion of the job.

What materials do you use?
We use materials that meet or exceed industry standards. For sewer lines, we use PVC schedule 40 or SDR 35. Junction points are often vulnerable so we use Strongback Ferncos. If the wrong material is used you will likely see problems again.

Are you licensed?
Yes, we are licensed and in good standing with the CO Secretary of State. We are also licensed in every municipality in and around Denver Metro.

Are you insured?
Yes, and it is very important that whomever you hire has the proper insurance! Sewer line repairs can be very dangerous with dirt cave-ins, excavators at work and various other hazardous working environments. Some companies will be under-covered or not insured at all because it is such a significant expense for a company. Hiring someone without the proper insurance puts you, the homeowner, at risk of having unwanted liability. Sewer Lines Only has general liability insurance, workman’s comp insurance and vehicle insurance.

How do I get started?
We give free estimates. If you would like to move forward, you can approve the estimate online. Once your deposit has been paid, we can get you scheduled.
